Don’t wait until you are a senior in high school
Here are the steps you need to take:
- Register and be actively involved with a Scout Troop, Venturing Crew or Sea Scout Ship.
- Earn the Eagle Scout, Summit Award or Quartermaster Award.
- Earn the Ad Altare Dei, Pope Pius XII or Light is Life (Eastern Rite) Religious Emblem.
- Keep track of your hours and service when you volunteer with your Church, Community, School and Scouting.
- Continue practicing your Catholic faith.
- Then, when you are a Senior in High-School you will be ready to apply.
In 2023 NCCS is awarding 10 service scholarships totaling $27,000 to Catholic Scouts in a BSA Program.
