Catholic Scouting is honored to have been the title sponsor for the 2021 National Catholic Youth Conference. It was inspiring to see so many young Catholics come together, strong in their faith and ablaze with love for our Lord.

Our Catholic Scouting Youth Ambassadors, Elaine Smith and Joseph Bowers, were thrilled to share the stage with NCYC emcees and special guests. Catholic Scouting chaplain, Father Roger Lopez, felt blessed to share his passion for environmental stewardship and care for God’s creation in his workshop on the Laudato Si Catholic Scouting activity

It was great to have so many visitors to the Catholic Scouting booth. Catholic Scouting is a perfect complement to parish faith formation and our volunteers were honored to share how parishes can integrate all the faith, family and adventure of Catholic Scouting into their programs. Parish leaders who visited the Catholic Scouting booth or otherwise inquired about Catholic Scouting during NCYC got a chance to enter in a drawing for a free 70” flat screen TV for their parish. Congratulations to the big winners: Beth Haggenjos of St. Jude Catholic Church in Indianapolis and Mark Bodensteiner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Dubuque.

We were glad to see so many young people participating in the American Saints Quiz Game and team-building activities. We are also happy to see what young people shared on Instagram during NCYC, especially when they tagged Catholic Scouting. Young participants earned light up yo-yos and American Saints Trading Cards, plus a chance to enter in drawings for a backpacking tent, camp chair or $100 Amazon gift card. You can see who won here.

If we missed you at NCYC, we invite you to contact us to find out more about Catholic Scouting. We’d love to hear from you!
