Being a Boy Scout taught me many skills I still use. It taught me leadership and organizational skills. It taught me to respect those in authority and to preserve and renew God's creation. It taught me to have a reverence for God and to see dignity in all people.

I support Catholic Scouting and invite parents to consider the Scouting program for their sons and daughters.

Most Rev. Gregory J. Hartmayer, OFM Conv.

Archbishop of Atlanta

“I urge you to be both dynamic Christians and faithful Scouts…The Lord wants you to be his disciples and to spread light and hope, because he counts on your boldness, your courage and your enthusiasm.”

Pope Francis

May 2021

"Catholic Scouting helps to faithfully develop the authentic leaders our world needs today. They have a long history of helping our young men and women to know themselves as sons and daughters of God so that they can fulfill the mission God has given them."

Bishop Andrew Cozzens

Bishop of the Diocese of Crookston, July 2021

"Catholic Scouting aids the formation of a young person’s faith life and is a gift to our Church!"

Alison Tate

Director, Office of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, Diocese of Austin, Texas, July 2021

"Watching my sons' journeys through Catholic Scouting was watching them grow deeper in their faith and in their love for the Lord, and it strengthened their desire to give back to their community. No other activity provided that for them."

Sharon A.

Mother of Four Eagle Scouts, July 2021
